Great gameplay, decent graphics, but the problem? The damn thing eats up CPU power like crazy, after a while slowing down my computer! Not only that, it also crashes my Firefox during the middle of a game! This is a well designed game, but how can I enjoy it if it won't even work?

This was a neat tribute to Super Mario Bros. 2. It had nice control, especially when compared to other Mario flash games, and it had nice, smooth animation. But, this game is not without its flaws, annoying ones.

The bonus game was a bit pointless, it was left entirely to chance. It was randomly pointing and clicking. In addition, I don't know if everyone had this problem, but when I wanted to jump, I pressed "A" by instinct (like in the original game) and would end up running of a cliff. Stealing the key was the worst. Imagine, you've stolen a key from a room and you're running away from a phanto. He's gaining on you when you reach the door the key goes to. You press up to use it, only to end up jumping, by then, the phanto has reached and killed you.

All together this game was certainly more good than bad, more fun than annoying, and definitely a game worth checking out.

Before I forget, what was the significance of this being a Mafia-themed game? The only elements that relate to the Mafia are the three characters. The rest is just Super Mario Bros. 2 remade in flash.

I don't know why this flash seems have such a low rating, this was beautiful. You captured one person's singular moment in thought and feeling. "A sad new years story" is as close to capturing a person's pain and disdain for life as anything I have ever seen.

For the haters and beraters that slander this submission, just remember that in order to get anything out of this piece, you have to make the effort to THINK about what you're viewing, and try to make a connection with the story.

Sir, I may have found this submission to be a bit too short, but that's the point isn't it? Genuine poetry. Good work.

P.S. Why is the file size so large? 6.4 MBs for 50 seconds?

"Excellent game, but..."

I just wanted to say, I LOVE this game. It was challenging and fun, you planned the levels near perfect around a great concept, and it had a reasonable learning curve. But as outstanding as this game was, there was the problem of memory usage. While playing the second last level of the campaign, the memory usage for Firefox jumped to 200 000 K, leaving my PC unresponsive.

I want to give this game a perfect score, but I can't ignore an error that serious. I hope you can find a fix soon.

This reminds me of all the late night cartoons from the mid-nineties. Your animation delivered with quirky imagery, your writing was sharp and witty, you wrote interesting and endearing characters, and the voice acting was superb and kept with the pace of the scenes. Altogether worthy of the front page and a perfect score. I'm favouriting this one.

P.S. I like the Lake Ontario joke in the beginning.

I'm not really into hentai, but you seem to have some decently animated pics in this flash, and I have to ask, "Are these yours?" cause if they are, you have some genuine talent.

P.S. Picture number 23 with that octopus creature with his tongue out is almost like he's preparing to do a "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife" to that girl.
